Arzu Canan MD

Arzu Canan, MD is a cardiothoracic radiologist and Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She currently serves as the Interim Division Chief of Cardiothoracic Imaging and Program Director for the Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship programs. Her clinical and research interests focus on cardiac and coronary CT as well as cardiac MRI. Dr. Canan is an emerging editorial consultant for the Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and plays an active role in national educational efforts through her involvement with the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) and the North American Society for Cardiovascular Imaging (NASCI), where she leads the On-Demand Task Force for SCCT and the NASCI Teaching Files Subcommittee.
